Ask Not For Whom the Bell Tolls...

Found this article while browsing the New York Times today. It gives some food for thought and while his sentiments about the death of reading in general are laudable, the demise of a Barnes & Noble fills our dusty hearts with a small amount of glee (especially after reading this other article linked here). The thought that people are actually said that Ye Olde Corporate Bookshoppe has to close down a branch are disgusting. Even the woman who laments about the closing of Tower Records and Blockbuster should be lined up against the wall of a Mom and Pop store and shot with home-made bullets.

We're all for capitalism as long as it represents the ability of people to work for themselves or for something they love, as opposed to all-consuming corporations with little regard for anything other than profits.
