This is an essay I wrote on former Manson associate/inmate/artist Bobby Beausoleil who has been in prison for 35 years and now has a show of his psychedelic style art in Los Angeles. He was in Kenneth Anger's "Invocation of My Demon Brother," and did the soundtrack for "Lucifer Rising." The piece is an invitation to ponder the legacy of the 60's counterculture movement today.
